Croatia is a small country on the Mediterranean Sea, which is known not only for its natural beauty, but also for a number of cultural monuments, mainly originating from the antiquity period. At that time there were many ships sailing between Greece and the Apennine Peninsula. Around 300 archaeological sites are now known along the coast-but a large number remains undiscovered.
